For Administrative Set up of Tripura Nursing Service, one proposal for organogram of Tripura Nursing Services has been submitted to the Department of health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Tripura, with the decision of Advisory Committee of Tripura Nursing Council.

• The proposal regarding career development of ANM & GNM Staff is being processed.

• Project proposal has been sent to the Govt. of India for strengthening Govt. GNM School of Nursing in the year October ‘2010 @ rupees 25.00 lakh per school, awaiting for the sanction.

• Planned for development of a Nodal Centre for Implementation of the competency based training of health care providers for Reproductive Maternal,  Newborn  & Child Health (RMNCH) services.

• 2 years course for ANM® will be implemented from September, 2013.

• Model Village for implementation of the various pre-service skills  practice by the ANM® Trainees is planned.

• Post Diploma Course prescribed by the INC such as MIDWIFERY PRACTITIONER COURSE planned for implementation.

• Up gradation of one GNM School to College of Nursing.

• Introduction of post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course for In- Service Nursing Personnel.

• Strengthening of  the *TRIPURA NURSING COUNCIL *.
